This will probably increase the chances of your DVD's getting stolen. When the burglar breaks in and steals the case that looks like it might be something expensive and rushes out....later he realizes its just your collection of crappy 80's dvds. Its a lose lose situation on both ends.

You can hit your insurance company up for the cost to replace the thousands of dollars of DVDs and just pocket the cash. Who wants those old, bad special effects movies anyway?
