CMOS is the Lens that is used on your webcam.
I wonder why SONY starts to make crappy stuff.

Sony knock off of the Flip Video?
Actually, this has better features than the popular Flip for about the same price. Biggest advantage is the GC1 has a memory slot, Flip is 2GB internal only. Downside is that it takes Sony's proprietary memory stick.
