Has anyone connected their XBox 360 by using the MS VGA cable to this monitor and been able to crank it up to 1080p without any problems?

I dunno man, at this price, I think I'd go right up to their 30" for $1189 or the Samsung a little bit more. 2560x1600 FTW!

Agreed... way too expensive for this thing. the 30" is a MUCH better deal!

Duh, 27" LCD monitor is better than a 30" LCD monitor, #4! *smirk*

    24 LCD costed $1200 2 years ago.

At this price, I'd save the $300 or so and get the 27" Viewsonic. The Viewsonic is lacking the video connectivity and expansion slots (USB, card readers) that the dell has, but I wouldn't pay an extra $300 for those. If I was that desparate to have them, I would go all the way up to the 30" as others have suggested.

The 3007WFP is much better because it is an 30" baconPS panel with 2560×1600 native resolution.

I like this 27 inch monitor. I have one on my desk at work, and the resolution / size combination just seems to be the sweet spot. The 30" monitor is great if you're ok with superfine font size, and complete inability to hook it to anything but a fully equipped desktop or XPS laptop.

I actually have both the 27 and 30 inch dell displays at my work, but let someone else use the 30 inch monitor. I hate running monitors at lower than native resolution, and the 27 inch works great at native resolution for me.

Dell just came out with a NEW 30" that costs around $2k. Not sure who'd pay that over the existing 30", though it does look nice.
