linksys is reliable

Ive got a v2 running dd-wrt. Great router, and great os. I have had this router since about 2003 maybe 2004 and just recently reflashed to dd-wrt, so many in depth options and full control of tx power. I think i will go down to oraficedepot and pick another one up to play with.

This router is a legendary workhorse. I have installed a ton of these for friends and companies and they are ultra-reliable. For $40 its still a good deal.

couldnt resist, went and got another. Its a v8 but isnt too bad to hack. I did have $30 in compusa(believe it or not) prepaid visa cards so $14 out the door.

waiting on a cheaper one -_-

I sure as hell am having an issue with them on one. Customer svc. sucks. Had to install 7 of them and one was bad. (kept resetting). On hold for 3 hours the first time, 2 hours of troubleshooting and then it still was doing the same thing. On the fourth go around, they said to call back to customer svc and they would just ship me another one. I am pissed about this.
