Actually, I've seen a write up of a guy that took a couple old dish tv satellite dishes, and used them for a longer distance setup, similar to what this device is (allegedly) good for. I suppose that's easier than digging a slit trench and burying a cable, if you have a significant (>100ft) distance to run.

At first glance I thought this was a cover for the George Foreman Round Electric Grill deal which is about 5 deals below this one!

These work very well and I have the smaller cousin to this one for more portability.

Is this like Direct TV? Does this get ESPN 8 - The Ocho?

I bought one of these. Now my nuts tingle all the time. Then again, it could be all the porn.

Yes it looks goofy but it does work well. Be sure to toss the driver CD & download the latest.

this doesn't do nearly as good as a Wokfi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WokFi) which costs considerably less.

Cantennas are even better: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cantenna

I think you can hook this to anything.. hook it to your TV and you get instant PPV.

I had an older version of this (HWU54G) when I was in grad school to catch free internet provided by university it was very effective where laptop's inbuilt antenna was useless. It saved me lot of money for the whole duration of my school. I saw this one too it is a cheaply built that dish will come out if you handle it bit rough and this one is pretty heavy too and it's very hard to carry this crap where ever you go.
