GoDaddy.com is celebrating their newest Super Bowl ad by offering free Private Registration when you register or transfer one or more domains with coupon code CJCBOWL [Exp 2/4]. If you've seen some of the other cheaper registrars, take note, as with many of them you don't actually own the domain you buy!

Who wants to register their privates? Isn't that why they're called privates in the first place?

Godaddy.com uses interesting advertising - not at all to my liking. I do not approve nor support it. I have stopped doing business with them.

I'm interested in hearing more about this #2. I assume you're talking about TV ads, but I don't watch TV, so I don't see them.

#3 - go to their web site (or youtube) -- they are apparently posting commercials that are not appropriate (or too expensive?) to air on TV.

Ads contain such mature language as "humpas" and "winkie" I think I'm going to join #2... HIGHLY inappropriate.

I've used Godaddy for the last few years. They seem to be relatively reliable, if you can deal with their website (which I hate).
