There are 3 different 'strengths' (sezes) that these things come in.

Also, other posters have said "accept no substitues" - get the Joby (this) brand of flexible tripod.

DSLR's are no problem, this suspended my 1DS MkIII w/ 600mm lens over the laser bars atop the rabid aligator pit with no problems. You may want insurance though.

bought one from amazon and returned. didn't work for my canon a570. later bought cheap imitation of this tripod and it fell apart instantly. i would go with dslr+zoom version.

Nuisance, you really, really need practice. You're ability to formulate the most inane, ineffectual insults is quite impeccable.

#6, what were the problems?

I was going to say exactly the same about War of the Worlds.

You post exactly like m0f0; Like a dork with a thesauraus but nothing to say. No doubt you two are one.

Nuisance is a child molester. He has admitted it before.

I got one of these for christmas, but I prefer the telescoping mini tripods:

Much (much) more compact and sturdy even for dslrs.
