I guess this model is old and they are getting rid of these older 7 mp cameras to make way for 8mp cameras. And it is 3x optical and 4.8x digital zoom.

I got one for $120 at Christmas and I thought that was a steal. Great camera for the price. It has the face recognition software and internal zoom.
