$49 shipped W/Free engraving from APPLE.com.

Why would you get this here?? Oh.. APPLE.com doesn't pay commissions? I get it.

And Amazon has it for $48.99 no tax no shipping.

I don't trust Amazon or Apple. I'm going with B&H Photo Video.

The 2GB version is coming out from Apple soon and is going to sell for $69.

#4, true. Honestly, 1gb is plenty for the purpose. I use it to run and the gym, other then that it looses usefulness w/o screen, etc. I could run a marathon with the music you can fit on 1gb.

All these 3rd party vendors must be pissed. $49 is probably THEIR cost from Apple.

Finally a decent price for the i-touch.

Yeah... but they add value to their purchase... the excitement of not knowing if your going to get it... the thrill of having to call and decline a $117 sport strap or they won't ship.. the mystery of whats going to happen if it dies on you...

Exciting &sh$t.

Sarcasm about the price aside, B&H is a very reputable vendor.

no one is denying B&H's reputation, it's just that it can be had at a better price.

"worlds smallest" POS

B&H is fine, but with Amazon Prime, I get it cheaper and quicker. And I do like Amazon over just about any other e-tailer.

#13, 1GB is plenty for what the shuffle is designed for. Running, gym, whatever. Get a clunky classic if you want to put every song you have on it.
