If you're not in need for an immediate iPod fix, rumors continue to circulate that a $100 price cut is coming on the iTouch - if so, it is likely that the classic models will also see some form of price drop.

#2, you missed my point. Apple did a great job convincing people to call MP3 players IPods. I would never call Coke just cola. I am a fellow Coke drinker. They had a goal of reaching every corner of the world with a bottle of Coke.

A rum & coke just don't taste right with pepsi.

I have a previous generation 80gb video iPod. I recently bought a new Dell XPS laptop. I love everything about the new laptop except the fact that my iPod does not work properly with it. I can't figure it out. It will not boot-up with the iPod attached.

to [elmojosh], your laptop won't boot-up with the ipod attached is probably because the laptop is trying to use the ipod as external usb disk and trying to boot from it and failed.
