Great for email, note taking, web surfing, youtubing, plus it's only 2 lbs! I have this exact model but upgraded to 2gb of ram. It boots up quicker than my core 2 duo.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but why buy this for $350 when you can get this http://bensbargains.net/deal/59367/ for $460

#2, thank you, choosing between the two now will be good practice for the upcoming elections in November.

$350 for something that weighs 2 lbs would be good enough reason. Instead of that other thing for $460, why not http://bensbargains.net/deal/58974/ for $499.

#5, let me get this straight, this is for pussies who can't carry something weighing 5 pounds?

#5 don't be dumb. Don't put a link to a mini desktop computer to compare to a notebook.

My buddy got one of these, and my fingers are too chubby, I saved 200 and went with a nokia n800, i am very happy with my little tablet, its not a notebook replacement, but it does what i need to get done til i can get to a desktop

#6 I'm not talking about carrying your laptop out of the packaging. Try carrying a brick for 8hrs non stop and you'd be singing to a different tune.

#7 Very smart! No go put your head in a blender and make a point.

FYI: This is the regular 4G model that costs $399 on Newegg. It has a built-in camera and claims longer battery life than the 4G Surf models that Newegg has for $349.

This is a great deal, I like to carry light things. I currently own a Dell Latitude C400, and is very light. Linux is also not that bad. My only criticism is that 4gb is a bit small, we have 16gb usb flash drive.

This is a nifty device, however, even with it being small it's overpriced for the components it contains. Perhaps if they ever catch on they will be able to manufacture them in large enough quanitities to lower the cost to a reasonable $200-250.
