Anyone who lusts over a vacuum cleaner is in need of therapy.

Remember the good old days, when folks broom-swept their carpets, then maybe once a year rolled them up and sent them out to be professionally beaten?

Now we spend hundreds on a vacuum and more bucks on the electricity to run a "Mach 5 Multi-Chamber Cyclonic Bagless" monstrosity.

    Am I sounding too Amish?

I bought a Hoover Mach 4 at Fry's last weekend for 69.99, don't know if they are still on sell, regular is $99. You can try and ask them to check if its still show 69 on they system.

So far mine works really good, I would recommend never spend over 100 dollars on a vacuum, if you do, mind as well spend several hundreds for a in wall professional vacuum.

#4 or a Kirby. Insanely expensive, but worth it. My family has one and we just all borrow it off each other once in a while to get what the vacuum doesn't.
