I bought a cheap CA 2.1 before and it is decent at best. The sub woofer is a joke - it's like a 2" woofer. At low volumes in sounds pretty good, but anything somewhat loud distorts - and because of the low watts you can't turn them up too high (I bring these outside when I'm in the backyard and they don't perform too well). Stick with something with a little more 'umphh.'
