#2, some Canon printers use BCI-3e black and BCI-6 color. No, the blacks are not interchangeable.

There are much better deals on ebay. I just bought 10 cartridges (2 of each color) for my Canon MP 530. With shipping they were $1.65 each.
These are non-oem cartridges that do NOT have a chip.
All that is needed is to remove the chip from the oem cartridge and install it on the non-oem cartridge with the included double sided tape. They work great!
