Loaded woth lots of task bar jamming crap. Carefully pick and chose your installations. I was so fed up with it, I went back to Nero 6 Express.

I think this is the newer suite 3 instead of the cheaper suite 1.

Nero 6 was the best, but won't work with vista.
8 is ok if you just install the 3 things you need and not the 50 you do not.

I think this works great. I ran into a problem with audio sync...but it has been resolved - use smaller video files.

It might come with Recode 2, but many codecs have only 30-day licenses -- g, MPEG-4. Although I do have to say it's 2-2.5x faster than open source MPEG-4 encoders under Windows (most using Cygwin or MinGW), and still about 50% than native open source MPEG-4 encoders under Linux.
