26" makes no sense. No more pixels than a 24" so why? Bigger pixels is all you get. I'm writing this on a 24" KDS at ~2' viewing distance, would be comfortable at 30" VD. Save your money and get the 24"

#2 makes the same argument most men who are poorly endowed make. Size matters. Buy some Enzyte, and quit crying because your monitor isn't the biggest.

Seen this yet? http://www.oled-display.net/sony-xel-1-oled-tv Pretty sexy! So long LCD/Plasma.. Can't wait..

Bigger is not better for a workstation monitor if you are sitting right in front of it. The edges become off-angle above 24" if you're 2' away. Now if you're gaming further back, that's a different story.

1000:1 contrast ratio is so 2006.

OLED is about 4-5 years off from being remotely affordable. They barely have the mass manufacturing facilities finished and figured out.
Sony has the XEL-1 and is barley pumping those out.
When OLED hits mainstream at large sizes I will definatly buy one. Unless Laser TV finally takes over as the ultimate High Res cheap tv.

come on, OLED? the thickness is on the base man. Also the size is so small for now, when can it beat my 50" TV man?

Yeah, #11, find a HDTV with 1080p resolution. Then see what the difference in price is. You will not be paying a "little" more. Plus, you will have the aforementioned GIANT pixels.

for me the more dpi the better. screen size is better.

    compare:
    24" ~ 96dpi @1920x1200
    26" ~ 72dpi @1920x1200
iphone ~ 170dpi - the iphone screen rocks... almost like print dpi.
