Where are the 5 free Blu-ray's? I thought that deal was over with. Just wondering because I purchased an 80gb a couple months ago, and thought I missed it by two weeks.

This deal has been in effect since last summer, and without fail it appears on Ben's Bargains at least twice a month. The 5 free movie deal has been dead for months (see bluraysavings.com) and the 80GB PS3 is no longer sold at sonystyle.com. Epic fail.

This deal sucks, and it's been around forever. You could change the terms of the deal to any store that sells PS3. You could also change it to "Buy anything worth $300 for $200... anywhere". Oh, and deals that require credit card signup are not really deals.

Probably not, As PS3 demand goes up, they will keep the same price and with better equipments like bigger Hard drive over time just like what Apple did to the iPhone

A few months later, I got an offer in the mail: "Make a charge to your card, and we'll give you a $25 credit." Worked like a charm.
Now, I have an offer "Pay your utility bill with your Sony Card, and we'll give you a $25 credit for up to 3 payments." I dug my card back out and set up a few utility payments. Waiting for my free $75.
Not sure how Chase can afford to give away money like this, but I'm not complaining.

go to ebay buy returned unit, got (60gb for 90+s&h)then purchase blu- ray laser kes400aa if you build your own pc you can easily do this.first time one hour, tutorial online.i payed 55 for laser but have since purchased another for 37.@certain times they're easy to snipe.i have also payed 132 for @40gb.the 40 came with spidey and controller.read stated problem buy the one that says "powers on does not read disks".some scratches but works great
