Had one of these, nice cooler, pretty quiet for the CFM... BUT... the clip to put in on the board was a b!tc#... took more force that I was comfortable applying to the board. Of course, on other boards (or cheaper boards I guess) your mileage may vary.. but the clip design on this thing could use some work. Won't buy these again.

I am currently using one of these. I don't really remember installation, as it's been a few years, but many CPU coolers have really tight connecting clips.

I haven't had any problems with this cooler. It's quiet and it performs very well. Also, because the fins aren't as closely packed as some other CPU coolers, it takes far longer for this cooler to become clogged with dust.

"I don't really remember installation"
From the boy who last week claimed to "never forget"
It must have been super hard to make you forget.

#3: I build computers a lot. It's hard to remember a specific computer build from years ago when I've built many computers both before and after that one.

As far as I can remember, it didn't give me any real trouble. I clipped it on, and it's had no problems since. However, I got it when it was only made for socket 939, so the clip may be different now(perhaps it's harder to use) than the old 939 design.

Have this cooling my 5000+ blackie, it keeps it cool around 35c idle, and never goes over 45c on stock speed. For the price, it is a steal.
