Microsoft Optical Mouse 3000NewEgg.com has the Microsoft B2J-00001 1000dpi 4 Buttons Tilt Wheel USB Wired Optical Notebook Mouse 3000 for $10 + $6 shipping = $16 shipped. It is symmetrical, so lefties can use it as well.

-- Interesting that Ben's description says it's for righties or lefties, but the little side clicker button seems to only be on the left side, which is DESIGNED FOR RIGHTIES, like me. --- Personally, I like to use the side button as a paste button for filling in order forms with my email adress & other contact details that I always keep handy in an always-open notepad (namely TextMaid). I don't use that button for "going back" in my browser like a lot of websites pronounce its use for. I rarely go back in web pages. I more often R click to open new page and while that page loads I finish reading the current page and then close it out.

-- Apparently that little button on the L side is designed as a screen magnifier. See here the demo:

-- But Microsoft's webpage description still says this mouse has "Four Customizable Buttons"

I have a similar wireless one and I had issues getting connected to my laptop.
It is a good quality mouse though.
To be honest I prefer the logitech mice though.

Just use "Alt-" left and right arrows if you don't want to click on the forward/back buttons.
