I just dumped one of these on Ebay and got the 5.5 generation 80GB. The 5.5 is thicker but you can install IpodLinux and rockbox. That makes it more valuable.

I attest that the iPod Classic is truly a POS. I once received it as a gift. I was appalled at how unusable the device was and did not care for anything that Steve Jobs said that was great or retarded as "one more thing" at the bacon mac_in_trash expos. I sold it to some apple fanboy, but I assure you it was not m0f0 because it wasn't the bacon pink iPod nano.

refurbished rice = fried rice, so yes many people want refurbished rice which has all of the leftover crap that the restaurant hasn't used yet and doesn't want to throw away
