this is the first price drop I have seen for this monitor the panel is very nice and the aesthetics are even better but I wouldn't spend this much on a 1080p monitor when there are tvs which rival this. Ya ya high color gaumt....there are LED backlite tvs with HCG and 120 hz. suck it dell.

The 2408 has the same resolution and it's cheaper. I would rather fit the same amount of info on a 24".
