I got one and it works fine, but didn't serve the purpose I wanted. My phone (Samsung SGH-T809) has limitations built in to where it can only hold a maximum of 200 text messages on the memory card, regardless of the size. That's all I really wanted it for was personal data. The pictures my phone takes with its built in 1.3 MP cam are small enough file sizes where I wouldn't even fill the stock card that came with the phone.

As for the other things it could hold, such as music, movies, and random files (as well as the pics): Camera, Ipod, flash drive.

I guess the warning I'm trying to pass along here is to check your phone's capabilities and limitations. My little brother's phone doesn't even have the option to store messages on the memory card, and one of my friend's phones can't even access the card using a file manager/explorer type interface, he can only look at pics and music on it, no other files (and his phone is YEARS newer than my old ass phone).

I got the 2gb Kingston sell blowout, I believe 2gb for 11 or 12. They work great!
