This is such a waste of money. No wonder m0f0 is living in a troll tent now.

Or what I'd do is buy an inexpensive 32 GB CF card (like those A-Data ones we see here regularly for about $150) and put in in an old Creative Micro or MicroPhoto (eBay). Sure, it won't be as pretty (or fragile or big) as the iPod, but with $300 left in my pocket I'd be willing to make that compromise.

Isn't the new 3g iPhone supposed to be like $200 cheaper or something, according to rumors? I know that the Touch is not the same thing as an iPhone, but if a 16GB 3g iPhone was going to cost less (not counting AT&T service) than a 32GB touch, I'd probably go for the iPhone.

#4 - Yes. 16GB is going to be 250 and 32GB is going to be 350. Save your money and wait a moth to get this and a phone.

most likely the typical $100 drop coming in a month.

$475! What a joke! You would think Apple could include a half decent pair of phones for that price. The Dollar Store carries higher quality phones.

shut up.. as long as there are people who buy this over price crap.. the higher gains I get in the market. So let them be.

#12 You should be concerned. Resentment builds every day towards Apple because their arrogance and lack of any value in their product..bacon will soon be reflected in their market value as more and more consumers learn that they are just suckers buying overprice junk. Why do you think the T W A T to the left has such a smirk on his face.

#12, that is same kind of attitude that led to the housing market failure: idiots were buying up homes at prices that were too high.

#12 - holy crap those two aren't related at all. banks don't let you take 30-year loans to buy apple stock.

Apple who is going to be trouble in the future. More and more people are developing an animosity toward it's overpriced yet functionally lacking products. Unless they come out with new and creative gadgets, they will return to their struggling ambiguity of the mid 90's
