*Meh* Gas outdoors. For all you losers with Electric in the house.
I got Natural Gas indoors, and Charcoal out, like the good Lord intended.

*Meh* The good lord didn't intend for a man to receive a peanis in his ass yet you don't seem to have a problem with that.

*Meh* too bad your good lord didn't intend for you to spell correctly. Look up "looser" in the dictionary. Idiot.

I agree, #1. One gripe I have is that they make stainless steel grills this nice FOR GAS for around $200, but try finding a charcoal one for that price! The only ones I've found are like, sculptures, for upwards of $800. For a CHARCOAL grill made out of SS! Highway robbery. I'll keep looking...Meanwhile my Weber 22 1/2" works great!

    loser n.
    1. a person or thing that loses.
    2. a person or thing that seems destined to be taken
advantage of, fail, etc.: a born loser.
    3. A dumbass who doesn't know about Ben's filters and
    spells "loser" as "looser"

    - pwned. go back to school

Wow. Touched a nerve with a friggin' grill comment. And I fixed it, sorry I hit the 'o' button twice and didn't spell check before I hit submit. Didn't realize this would be on the final exam. And spell checking a Ben's Bargains post? Too much time losers?

Natural gas indoors = greasy deposits on the cabinets, carbon monoxide from the burning, fire hazard, indoor pollution.

Charcoal/Wood cooking outdoors = two kinds of potentially carcinogenic compounds forming in the meat: polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and heterocyclic amines (HCAs), outdoor pollution (greenhouse gases), soot particles in the food, microscopic bits of polyunsaturated fatty acids released into the atmosphere.

Electric cooking in or outdoors = none of the above.

    So now who's the "loser"...?

#9. If flavor matters, then you lose. Even cavemen know that meat is meant to be burnt over an open flame. Gas or charcoal is a matter of preference, but electricity is definitely out, except to power the rotissary.

Pitty the poor sods who drink soy milk, avoid sunlight, and throw away eggyolks in the hopes of living to be 250 years old. That isn't living, and such behavior should not be encouraged regardless of how profitable it is for the pharmaceutical industry and Archer Daniels Midland.

Just stay away from the Nitrates Bro. You can eat reasonable portions of grain fed beef with impunity. And try to get some sunlight, you need the vitamin D to keep from getting all grumpy.

Wow, spartacus is back! I never thought I would see the day. Now only if boogersnot would come back...

Yeah, good times. I remember when P00P00Dancer and Fistolio used to argue who was the better idiot.

Sams Club has a nice stainless steel CHARCOAL grill for $149

#4, just buy this grill, don't install the burner assembly, and throw some charcoal in it.

Nice work #9, but science falls deaf on the ears of fat barbecue lovers. Plus, the amount of charred food you would have to eat to get cancer from a charcoal grill is probably more than the average human could consume, let alone would consume. That ozone-generating ionizing air purifier you use in your bedroom is more harmful for you than eating a few burned pieces of chicken.

Well then #10, I guess I'll just have to pitch my Gaggenau Vario VR 421. Uses lava stones over dual electric elements for the best, least polluted, BBQ. I've put it up against all comers and they all admit that electric tastes better and is less hassle.

I don't drink soy, nor avoid the sun, and I eat plenty of range grazed, locally slaughtered beef. Grain fed animals are full of toxins and hormones, my friend.

I heartily agree with the drug and chemical company philosophy. But, don't forget the poisoning the processed food industry, g Con Agra, has done to us. Sugar, salt, and saturated fat! Yeah, buddy...

haha- nice #14 - i mean, really ... what is a charcoal grill? It's a glorified shiny metal box!
    #19   deadlycheese - Posted 1:24 pm PDT 05/23/08 (17 Posts)
Can I play in the discussion if I just admit to being a 'looser' up front?
