anyone know which country these are imported from? china? japan? germany? sweden?. I've had positive experiences with boker, gerber and crkt before. framelocks seem like they would accumulate a lot of lint in your pocket though.

I own both a Spyderco knife as well as a CRKT knife. I have to say the quality of steel is comparable, but the Spyderco's seem to be more expensive in the store. If you don't need anything too fancy and are considering something low-end like a Gerber, you'll be quite happy with a CRKT on sale.
