I own one of these and the picture quality is horrible. Really, it outputs the worst picture from any device I've ever seen. And their bundled software sucks.
Stick with a Panasonic, something from their BL line of cameras. They're fantasic. You pay more but at least you get something good. Bonus is that you can see the Panasonic's video on an iPhone/iPod Touch. You can't with the Linksys.

Works with linux, but streams ASF, so expect to need to use ffmpeg and co for getting it into mjpeg or some other familiar format.

got this working nicely for over a month now, mp4 too, so works great on the iPhone. picture and video is crispy clear.
