No, not really a package.
Best Buy may match this... they matched it IN STORE?
I bought the system at Wal-Mart and was given the gift card. I then took the gift card and bought 3 games and an extra controller and was given $100 off.
So roughly if your buying games with it... your getting the 40 GB PS3 for $300 which is a pretty good deal.
I also bought the Rambo Trilogy!

Just got my MGS4 PS3 bundle instead, waited since 4:30AM and my local Walmart only has 3 in stock! All other walmarts sold out in LA areas.

#11, the 40gig models are not PS2 compatible. You'll want to pay an extra $100 for the 80gig model if that's important to you.

#14, correct. The 40 gig version does not have the capacity to play any PS2 games.
