I was about to purchase until I read the note saying it was the "wired" version. Would like to find this deal with a wireless guitar...

I ordered. I think it's a typo, after all it says controller requires two AA batteries. From looking at redoctane's site, it looks like all the Les Paul controllers are wireless, only the XPlorer one offered at Walmart is wired ...
