I made copies and provided tracking but never received my rebates on two crucial products. They lied and told me that I did not send the upc.

Thanks for the update. I've gotten the few Crucial rebates I've sent but that was a couple of years ago.

FYI - OCZ and Corsair have honored the rebates I've sent this year with no problems.

I've never heard of problems with Crucial rebates. I guess I will find out on my own soon as I have two $25 Crucial rebates to send off from the 2x1GB PC-6400 Crucial Ballistix deal at Buy.com a couple weeks ago. That reminds me... I still need to send those out.

Oh, out of curiousity, when a rebate allows two submissions per household can we send in both submissions in one envelope or do we have to send them in separately?

I had dozens of crucial rebates without any problem last years. Their CS is the best I've seen (I mean same as Egg).

Actually, I think their CS is BETTER than JewEgg's

I just picked up a Dimension 530 with 2GB of 667mhz RAM. Would these sticks be fine to upgrade to 4GB?

#7, these will work, but this new memory will only run at 667MHz instead of its rated 800MHz. That shouldn't be a problem, but you should know that before you throw in the extra memory. Also, make sure you have extra memory slots to add in more sticks of memory as I'm not familiar with Dell's motherboards. One more thing to know is if you are running a 32 bit operating system, XP or 32bit Vista, then you won't be taking advantage of the full 4GB of memory.

In fact, you are probably better off just sticking with your 2GB of memory because I highly doubt you are doing anything with your computer that justifies the need of 4GB.

#8, thanks...i just figured that for $25 it would be worth it to double the RAM. guess i'll see how the system performs before buying more.
