Agreed. I have tried to buy numerous things on Sears.com and I will get all the way through the checkout process to the "place order" step only to be told the item is no longer available. They have absolutely no inventory checking on their site. Just because something is in your shopping cart doesn't mean you can buy it. I called the 800 number after this happened and they told me it happens all the time, and that I shouldn't expect that because something is in my shopping cart that they actually have it in stock. Hmm, seems to work that way at most brick and morter stores. I have never gone up to the register only to have the cashier tell me the item I have in my cart ins't in stock.
