CyberPower makes a great set of UPS's in this line, and the LCD is actually useful. The best feature by far is the ability to show the power draw from hooked up components in kW's. So I can see real time how much draw is coming from any component (I even hooked it up to my fridge to see how much it pulled!).
Definitely a recommended buy and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one of these if I needed.

The problem with the Belkin 1500VA is that they don't leave the battery disconnected during storage, so a lot of them, at least a year or two when my company sold some of them, came with batteries that had less-than-impressive performance. I'm talking about maybe 18 minutes of uptime on an entry-level server--single Xeon, 4-drive RAID5, 500W PSU. The ones that performed properly got 50-100% longer uptime. Belkin did ship out entire replacement units for the ones that weren't all that great, but even those didn't do as well as the "good" ones.
