Lane guidance kind of shows you what the road looks like up ahead and which lane you should follow. I think it's pretty useful if you can keep your eyes off the road for a second to get an update from the screen.

@3: In Wyoming, probably not. In big cities, however, complex lane splits can be important to anticipate.
