    i've used these before, they are total baconnaise, not to mention it blows it's fuse really easily when in ampmeter mode.

    uhhh... it'll blow fuses really easy if you forget to move the red lead back to "volts" when you're done measuring current and go measure some voltage. *not* the meters fault!

    This meter works fine - it's just not a deal when you can get one for $2 @ HF

    This meter does not work fine, it's a steaming pile of poo that isn't worth the 2 bucks HF asks for it on sale. Like anything, try to spend too little and you end up with junk even if the junk is really cheap.

    Having written that much if all you ever need is to take a low precision voltage reading of your car battery or a PC PSU, or resistance above a few ohms it will do well enough for the limited # of times you can use it till it breaks, it's best considered a one time use meter for those who try to avoid taking measurements and just want the cheap means to some end.
