This looks like the same one you can pick up at your local harbor freight for half the price. Very Happy

I like the cheap H-F they provide a seprate switch instead having to rotate it around, don't want to wear out the rotary contects on these budget ones.

I have this unit. Bought it about 4yrs ago, and it still works. Have used it alot. Was $5.00 F/Shipping at the time. Now, price is way too much to ship. This company makes al it's money on shipping.

I'd second the HarborFreight unit. Works well, and is about $5 plus local tax when on sale, which is like every few weeks.

#5 -- And you are... "she123 Simpleton Wuss of the Trolls" always running with your tail between your legs. A fact that your post history here on Ben's validates without any doubt.

These are getting so cheap these days. Hard to imagine that decades ago I was drooling over a bulky DMM that used LED display, only ran on A/C and costed all my savings.

I think HF has a coupon so you can get the multimeter for $1.99.

Funny, most people don't even know how to use these. You tube has good instructional videos.

The one from Harbor Freight had shitty contacts in the switch. It wouldn't work at first until I played around with the switch. Almost had to buy another meter to troubleshoot the $1.00 one.
