hmmm I guess I'm outta luck with SUSE 11.

With that joke out of the way this thing doesn't seem like a bad deal at all for 10 bucks.

You could daisy chain 8 of these and get the same usage as the Cambrionix 49 port hub (that is available out there for some reason) without filling up your whole desk.
