better off waiting till july 11th and getting a new 8gb iphone for $200.

I've had terrible luck with Buy.com refurbs (including iPods), and a 100% perfect experience with refurbs direct from Apple. Go direct from Apple. The bitter taste in your mouth from Buy.com is not worth the $15. (BTW, I do buy NEW from Buy.com).
