I think this price is nice for a non-refurbished hybrid camcorder. Problem is that I'm finding split user opinions on the model's quality and coolness.

With the price stuck uncomfortably between SD and HD recorders, I don't see a comelling reason to buy it. You can either save $100 or go to HD, but this one?
