I got this last time around. Pretty nice, but a little on the small size. Ideally, I might like one size bigger so it's still not too far from ideal. I use the mouse too which has a nice smooth action. The stylus is nice for photo retouching and I even got my old Jasc PaintShopPro 8 to recognize it's pressure sensitive feature.
My one complaint is probably a driver issue. When you log in and out sometimes it won't move the cursor at the Welcome Screen (XP) and you have to tab to your login name.
Totally worth the $40.

Mine is a refurb and seems very new. The way I see it refurbs have gone through QC twice. I'm ok with that in most cases.
