The Sandisk clip is actually a very good basic mp3 player if you don't care about seeing pictures or videos. The audio is exceptionally good.

I like my mine overall but it does have a few DRM issues where it loses licenses from albums I've ripped to mp3 and then it won't play them. Since I only use my CDs for music this is annoying. My old Sansa does not suffer the same issues. Battery life is also very short at <5 hours. It's small and sounds good despite the issues.
