The Sandisk clip is actually a very good basic mp3 player if you don't care about seeing pictures or videos. The audio is exceptionally good.

In case anyone wonders, the size of this thing is similar to that of a mini-Zippo lighter. Really small!! (like the brains of ipod lovers, eh? )

I like my mine overall but it does have a few DRM issues where it loses licenses from albums I've ripped to mp3 and then it won't play them. Since I only use my CDs for music this is annoying. My old Sansa does not suffer the same issues. Battery life is also very short at <5 hours. It's small and sounds good despite the issues.
