Besides which, the cap fits nicely on the back side (loop end) of the jump drive, when not actually protecting the usb connector.
These drives aren't the quickest in the world, but they're pretty dependable.

My concern isn't about losing the cap but about the speed. For your 30 bucks, you can pick up a much faster drive.
