It still needs 802.11/n to be complete.

Well, it also needs a better vidcard than that thing, like the 8600.

It also needs a forklift truck to carry these hefty things around.

    50% off the second one?

I smell the stink of desperation, Michael, you gutless coward. If you has stood up to Micro$uck and insisted on being able to continue selling XP (without the $100 unsupported "downgrade" scam/sham), you'd be selling a lot more of these turkeys.

These things take FOREVER to boot Vista, and then crawl along at "three generations ago" speeds. Ask any owner.

And yes, you can spend another $100 per machine and "downgrade" to XP, just be aware that Dell only supports systems with the original shipping OS installed, so once you "downgrade" to XP, your warranty's toast.

    Just stupid beyond description...

    dd,

nicely said, and absolutely true. Micheal is in the throes of Dell-speration.

Look for more, and better (if you're interested) deals.

Very bad deal actully. You got 50% off from the second system which means you only get 25% on each at best if you get the same configuration.

The basic configuration of this term is too low that it costs too much to upgrade it.

a build of T8300+4G+350G HD+LED+256M8600Vid+Bluetooth+802.11n+SBsoftware+9cell battery sold at around $1100 the best price and $1250 average. But it costs $1416 on this deal.

    So BADDDDD Deal Ben.
