    #1 - If you get the linux version and put xp on it yourself, it's just right Smile

    I'd say this is a pretty good deal. It'd be fun to play with, throw in your briefcase or backpack to use when you're stuck somewhere with nothing to do or use to take notes in class, etc.

    should get the 901, this one doesn't have the Intel Atom CPU

    You really pay for the ultraportableness of it.
    The 900 Linux version is $400.

    They don't raid the drives so it's 4gb C: drive. That still presents challenges for XP and 16GB overall may not be enough after you install apps. Still, it is what it is. If your needs are simple then maybe it's for you.

    At this point, the MSI is looking better for a few bucks more.
