Is it worth it? Well I figure for $130 it can at least play mp3s, but I highly doubt you can stream even a full 720p tv show to this thing using wireless unless you have PERFECT conditions - just cant see 54g keeping up. I want a version with 802.11N and gigabit networking!

If you have a spare XBOX laying around and are interested in converting it to a kickass media player, google 'XBMC'. One caveat, it can't play HD video but the GUI is in HD, and so are picture slideshows provided you use component video cables.
