Might anyone know how this compares to verizons Voyager?

$100 plus a 2 year contract plus $10 shipping for renewing customers...

Voyager has internal QWERTY keyboard that I find rather useful for messaging


However looks like this VU also supports WI-FI, which is really nice

Past 'rebate' by the Wirefly company screwed lots of people out of rebates...they simply declared bankruptcy and kept the money..."On November 8, 2007, the sponsor of this rebate InPhonic, Inc., the prior owner of the Wirefly.com website, filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the S Bankruptcy Code." Another company supposedly bought them but you can clearly see the scheme going on here...I was out $150 in rebates and wish death to all the wirefly execs.

Wirefly and Letustalk types are simply the worst ones in terms of rebates. They have good pre-sales - seems you can talk to a person. But rebates are simply another matter. They will find every way to screw you. Use them at your own risk.
