Bluetooth headphones are here and prices will be dropping over the next year = digital sound, not analog like these.

Bluetooth is short range. Worthless if you aren't sitting by the transmitter. Many cordless phones are digital. 900 mhz is old school but at least it isn't using wifi, cordless phone, and other common device frequencies. Should cut down on interference with them. I suppose if you don't want neighbors listening in to your porn sessions encryption would be a good idea.
