#1 you're just a hater. I've been using Vista Ultimate for over a year and it works great!
On lighter note...system requirement shown on that link is laughable.

#10, yeah, right. Basically what Sandisk is saying is "our SSD is not as fast as the competition, and it is Vista's fault". Someone's been watching too many Apple Guy vs. Windows Guy ads.

They're just trying to shift the blame to Vista about their own inadequacies.

Vista is pretty sleek looking. I use it for work and everyday use and it works great. Compatible with everything i need it to work with. And yes, please upgrade already if you are trying to run Vista on some old dinosaur and are complaining that it's slow.

wait wait wait... If I have a PC that is running XP AND running all the applications I require AND is capable of playing games, how is it exactly that when I install Vista cuz Microsoft it will run, and it runs like ass that it's my PCs fault? It ran an OS that allowed it to do everything asked, at resonable speeds, MS suggests their new product, an upgrade, will make things "better" then suddenly my PC isn't fast enough?
You people make me sick. It shouldn't take a freaking quad-core JUST to run the OS. AND, for you dips actually running Vista Ultimate, I DARE you to put XP on it, and run all the same stuff you are running in Vista, and show even the slightest bit of proof that Vista is faster and thus somehow better than XP running on the same machine.
Sure, your machine may run Vista just fine, but if XP still runs fine on a P3 500, think how fast your quad-core would actually be in not loaded down by the mass of Vista.
For the record... I have a Vista machine that hasn't booted Vista after the first week. It ran SOOOO crappy, that I put XP on it. Surpise... the brand new machine purchased with Vista pre-installed on it was too slow to run Vista, but by some magic runs XP quite well... strange huh...

#14, nobody is forcing you to upgrade your OS. If your current machine and OS are working fine then why do you care about upgrading to Vista? I know people that are still using Windows 95 on a 486!

i built a machine 200 something and it runs vista really nicely I didn't need to get a video card or anything...the point of vista and any new win ows is new features and such and if xp and vista run about the same it's all a matter of preference. personally there are good things about layout and software from M$ that needs vista. I like the search and the big icons..bacon's gotten more stable and I feel it's good for me but both xp and vista are acceptable. vista has a sleek look and similar enough feel for me.

All this bitching about Vista sounds just like the bitching I heard about XP, W2K, W98, W95 and W1 Who needs a GUI or a mouse anyway? DOS 6.2 FTW!
