I have bought many of these, they are nowhere close to leather , they last about a year before the cushions become flat and hard
For $42 they may be worth it for a budget office.

True. I've got two, each from a different maker, but they're quite the same. One's gone fully flat and the second is on its way to flatness. I'm surprised you got a year out of it...
