I live in North Carolina and this weekend is going to be a "Free Tax Holiday" where you don't pay sales taxes on certain back-to-school items including computers. I know that Dell charges taxes in my state, anyone venture a guess as to if they will knock off taxes on their website this weekend for NC buyers?

You just have to love the optimism! Maybe NC will offer you a rebate tax form that will never be honored. The only chance as I see it would be to contact a Dell sales rep on the phone and hope they could override the auto tax somehow. Good luck, you'll need it.
