I got one new earlier this year. Love it, way better than my old yamaha.

I have been using the earlier model AVR240 more than 2 years...Well worth the price.

50W per channel. Why Harmon Kardon receivers have very low watts, but their price tag is not low accordingly.

HKs are high current recievers and they typically underrate the power output. This much power from an HK is more than enough for most regular home usage. I would say HKs 50W output is better than simlarily priced Onkyos with 100w output. And nobody compares HKs with lowend sony/panny etc..
