I have a 4 GB Super-Talent for the last 2 years - it still works great.

It's not going to write at 18MB/s. Maybe up to 15MB/s, probably lower peak and significantly lower average write rate. On ST's site the newer revision of the DH is 200X instead of 120X, meaning up to 30MB/s read rate. If the DH newegg sells is really only 120X older revision instead of Newegg forgetting to update the product spec then it would be one of the slowest modern drives at writing. Maybe still faster than their Pico series but Pico has a different problem that to make it so small they had to use a different controller die directly on the PCB.
But it's also one of the cheapest... so that's fair.

So does anyone know if this is 120x or the 200x version?
